From Veterinary Nurse to Gentle Guide - My Calling Is to Care

Local roots, lifelong passion, compassionate endings

My Story

My name is Kerisa, and for as long as I can remember, my heart has belonged to animals. I was fortunate to grow up with a variety of pets, which solidified my childhood dream of becoming a veterinary nurse. I was even luckier to complete my training locally and qualify in 1999, allowing me to build my life and career in the local community in Flintshire, North Wales.

This vocation is my true passion. After many years in practice, I found my deepest calling: helping families provide a gentle and peaceful farewell for their beloved pets in the place they feel most safe—their home. It is a profound privilege to be invited into your home during such a vulnerable moment, and I am dedicated to making the process as calm and dignified as possible.

You will often see a particular image on our page: a cat and dog crossing a bridge. This was created in memory of all the wonderful companions we have loved and lost. The dog is my own heart dog, Wilson, a Border Terrier whose memory inspired this symbol of a peaceful journey. For Wilson, and for every pet, "the Biscuit Bridge was born" as a promise of compassion and grace at life’s end.
